The Challenge
The Challenge
Designing for the Canadian market posed a unique challenge — I had limited knowledge of local food delivery behaviors, user preferences, and regulatory considerations. Understanding how the system worked for both users and restaurants in that context required extra research. My goal was to create a solution that felt native and intuitive for Canadian users, without prior firsthand experience of the ecosystem.

To bridge the gap, I conducted market research, analyzed competitor platforms like Uber Eats, and studied user expectations through reviews, app walkthroughs, and available case studies. I then designed a mobile app experience with clear flows tailored to both user and restaurant needs — making ordering, tracking, and managing meals easy and familiar for a Canadian audience.
